We did some extensive remodeling of our basement area and some room remodeling in our upstairs as well. All of the projects were done by Lang Group Construction. They worked with our architect, our sound designer and interior decorator to give us livable and more enjoyable areas in our home. 

Why should you use Lang Group Construction for your remodeling project(s)? There are many reasons, but here are just a few.

• Jon Lang coordinated all of his workers and subcontractors and did not leave us to coordinate their work times or projects. The subcontractors that he used were thorough, professional and timely in their work.
• Lang Group Construction worked closely with us when the inevitable unforeseen issues arose. In our case, it was the need to reinforce our basement walls. They also followed up after the project was completed to be sure we were satisfied with everything that had been done and made sure that any work done by the subcontractors was to our satisfaction.
• They worked with our financial and scheduling needs to make our experience with them a good one.

We were struggling with our very typical 70’s ranch style home.  It had small separate rooms; a living room, dining area, family room and kitchen. When we had more than five people over, there was no room for all of us to sit in the same area to talk, watch TV, play cards, etc.  It was not a pretty picture. We wanted to remodel the entire main living area into an open concept design but knowing what a huge project it would be, and not wanting to have a stranger we didn’t trust come in and tear our walls down, we opted to do nothing.

We met Jon Lang through a networking group.  We work from home and made plans to renovate one of our bedrooms into a home-office. We hired Lang Group Construction to help us with that project.  They did such a fantastic job, it was clear that they would also do a fantastic job with our larger main living area project.  We’re talking ripping down walls, new custom cabinets, quartz counter-tops, glass tile backsplash, stainless steel appliances, sink  faucet, new high-end laminate flooring throughout the entire space (for the dogs)… the whole works.

The entire project took about 6 weeks.  They were here every day on time and thoroughly cleaned up before leaving for the night.  When they finished, the transformation was absolutely amazing.  They did an unbelievable job.  Now we can have the entire family over and everyone can see and speak with everyone else.  We have plenty of room and have gotten so many wonderful compliments on the new look of the house.  We’ve never been happier, not to mention the added value this brought to the property.

We recommend Jon and Lang Group Construction to everyone we know that is looking to do a remodeling project.  Give them a call, you won’t be sorry.

I wanted to thank you and your incredible carpenters for the wonderful job you did completing our bathroom, ADA ramps, and structural reinforcement of our barn. This was an unconventional project , commercial and residential all rolled into one, with many twists and turns. You and your team confidently took on the challenge. I enjoyed working with you and the carpenters through each step in the process and I was grateful for your teams’ patience through the many on site changes I made. The carpenters paid great attention to detail in all aspects of the design. Mike did an especially impressive job building our vanity from scratch with the pile of vintage materials I left with him! The final product was even better than what I had designed in my head.! Your commitment to communication is what impressed me the most. You responded to every question I had with in 24 hours. It is a pleasure to acknowledge quality craftsmanship and the professional organization of Lang Group Construction. Jon Lang personally inspected the two major problem issues; excessive external water drainage from roof, and, master bathroom refinishing of woodwork and window resealing. Jon developed a solid proposal for correction of both original construction flaws and then assigned skilled professionals to completely correct both homeowner challenges. It is most accurate to say that Lang Construction personnel paid attention to the details of the work needed and were most respectful of our property. I had a good feeling when Jon came over to discuss our proposed remodeling project. It was further justified when we went to see his parent’s home which Jon remodeled for them.

Jon and Mike were confident, yet eager to please. If there were any concerns they were addressed promptly, usually even the same day they were made known. I like that. Jon put us in touch with Jim Pitzen who designed our project, and he did a wonderful job with detailing the design. We are exceptionally pleased with our new sunroom and remodeled kitchen.
