We were struggling with our very typical 70’s ranch style home. It had small separate rooms; a living room, dining area, family room and kitchen. When we had more than five people over, there was no room for all of us to sit in the same area to talk, watch TV, play cards, etc. It was not a pretty picture. We wanted to remodel the entire main living area into an open concept design but knowing what a huge project it would be, and not wanting to have a stranger we didn’t trust come in and tear our walls down, we opted to do nothing. We met Jon Lang through a networking group. We work from home and made plans to renovate one of our bedrooms into a home-office. We hired Lang Group Construction to help us with that project. They did such a fantastic job, it was clear that they would also do a fantastic job with our larger main living area project. We’re talking ripping down walls, new custom cabinets, quartz counter-tops, glass tile backsplash, stainless steel appliances, sink faucet, new high-end laminate flooring throughout the entire space (for the dogs)… the whole works. The entire project took about 6 weeks. They were here every day on time and thoroughly cleaned up before leaving for the night. When they finished, the transformation was absolutely amazing. They did an unbelievable job. Now we can have the entire family over and everyone can see and speak with everyone else. We have plenty of room and have gotten so many wonderful compliments on the new look of the house. We’ve never been happier, not to mention the added value this brought to the property.
